This online tutorial developed by Samir El Omari, is meant as a complement to the classroom based Arabic course. You can use these lessons and activities to supplement what you learn in the classroom.
The tutorial provides an opportunity for you to practice your Arabic reading, writing, speaking, listening, and cultural knowledge.

Special letters


This video presentation demonstrates the writing system and pronunciation of the letters in "sin, shin, jim, Ha', kha', fa', qaf, and ta' marbuta". It also presents how the sound of each one of these letters are used in a word in Arabic. It is a good demonstration to explain the difference between [sin/shin], [Jim/kha'/Ha'], and [kaf/qaf].

Writing system of the letters "k, l, m"


This lesson shows the writing system of the letters "k, l, m" in Arabic and demonstrates how to write those letters accordingly following the forms of initial, medial, final, or isolated position.
This lesson is presented in French language, however the script motion on the virtual board is intriguing and could be understood from the visual stand point.
